On November 30, 2024, the Greater Lagro Senior Citizens Association (GLASECA) successfully organized a Medical Mission dedicated to serving the health and wellness needs of senior citizens and the wider community. The event was held in partnership with local health professionals, volunteers, and supportive organizations, ensuring that care and compassion reached those who needed it most.
Services Provided
Free Medical Check‑ups: Seniors received consultations, blood pressure monitoring, and basic diagnostic services.
Health Screenings: Tests for blood sugar, cholesterol, and other vital indicators were offered to promote early detection and prevention.
Medicines & Supplies: Essential medicines and vitamins were distributed to participants.
Wellness Guidance: Doctors and health workers shared advice on nutrition, exercise, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
